We went to MoA today to watch Spiderman 3 on IMAX. It was sooo… huge. You could actually see their pores having the size of an average television. Especially when you’re way, way in front! LOL. Priceless. I wore a skirt which I vow to use/abuse since I became a destitute for a week after buying that skirt and a tank top perfect for hot, sticky, humid days. Unfortunately though, I forgot that moviehouses have the meanest air-conditioning system in the entire mall.
Denim mini-skirt, sleeveless tank top and slippers.
I’ll definitely freeze my ass there.
This fortunately, did not happen. My father was ranting that the aircon was not cold enough. I, on the other hand, was very much happy to be still intact sans the bluish nails and lips. Harhar.
Anyway, the movie was awesome. Harry was HAWWT and it was clearly shown that Peter was governed by his id when wearing the black Spider suit. Had to admit though, he looks better with the “emo” look. Hahaha! There were scenes there that greatly remind me of GA, PB and Friends! Iba na talaga pag adik. Nyahahaha!

The aforementioned girl is a very super dear close friend of mine so you can just imagine my squeal when she called out my name. I miss her so much. 
Back when we still have school, she’s my gimik buddy, my secrets keeper, my cheerleader, my tutor, my sounding board, my best friend… my sister.
Together, we have shared opinions about love life (or more appropriately, the lack of it), grades and college, unwanted suitors, unattainable crushes, the excitement associated with prom and the grad ball, etc. etc.
This entry is supposed to be about Spidey. But the brief encounter I had with Mae was also enough for her to earn a place here.

Went to McDo for a children's party. Grabe, ang sarap ng food. I'll be fat, fat, FAT! Rar. My dinner last night was McDo tapos lunch ko, McDo parin! Supersize Me Part 2 na to! O: Chicken, Spaghetti, Dalawang Cheeseburger, Ice Cream, Cake... Ok lang talaga.
After that, we drove by Makati and headed to Avalon for a "family get together". Ate Shanna and I went to Greenhills instead! Nadagdagan nanaman ang materyal kong pag-aari sa lupa.
Stopped by for the Mass kahit sobrang late na kami and I saw Zandra! :D Ang init sa simbahan.
By the way, my mom reconsidered my petition for Review Classes. I have kind of given up on the issue knowing I could study independently. But a chat with a friend last night made me ask my mom again. I told her, wala naman kaso sa akin pag hindi ako pumasa wag lang silang ma-disappoint. LOL. Being the lazy ass bum that I am, my what I considered as reviewing consists of thinking up random thoughts about high school lessons for a maximum of 5 minutes and then goes back to watching DVDs.
So there. Tomorrow, I shall canvass for review centers.
I guess sometimes, even goddesses needs a little push. Especially when it comes to academics. Haha!

When we got back to Avalon, my tita was there and I was joking saying I would go to med school after my pre-med course in college. I guess I was too drunk from all the Zesto Orange Softdrink I drank which made me say that. Or I was too hyped up in telling stories about Grey's Anatomy and my excitement over House M.D.
Anyway, my father joked that if I ever get into med school, Tita Ginny will shoulder my tuition fee/expenses. Linawin ko ha. JOKE LANG YAN.
Pero nang nasa bahay na kami, my father recieved a text from Tita Ginny saying that, she's willing to save up for "my med schooling"
Translation: Desedido siyang paaralin ako.
As long as UP or UST ako mag-me-medisina.
The question is, should I smile and thank the high heavens for this wonderful oppurtunity? Get more shocked than a person being electrically charged by the defibrillator? Or just pass out from all the pressure?

Food
I have found a new addiction. Super sweet mangoes from my lolo's farm generously dripping with my mom's ranch dressing is the best. Coupled with fried fish fillet, damn, I could die happy. Haha! In case you want to try it, here's the recipe: 
Mangoes. Preferably cold.
For the dressing: Sour cream, mayonnaise, chopped garlic and basil leaves.
Fish fillet is optional. ;P
If someone ever asked me what two foods I'd be willing to eat forever, day in, day out, I'd choose this. And Tuna Sanwich with lettuce and cheese. :D
Bonding
Two days ago, Miko and I had quite an adventure. I met her up in Tutorlink where I inquired about their program, then we rode a bus going to SM North Edsa to catch a jeep ride going to UP where there are jeepneys headed to Katipunan Ave. Yay! Looked for her review center HQ then dropped by in National. I already bought a Math reviewer, a mechanical pencil, eraser and a highlighter. Yes. Handa na akong mag-aral. :D After that, we went to Ateneo to look for the actual classrooms for review. Then went to Miriam where I saw Lora! Hehe.
Anyway, before going to Ateneo, while we were crossing the overpass, I checked my funds and it looked seriously depleted. Haha I asked for 5 pesos from Miko just to make sure I have enough money to haul my butt back home.
Guess what? When I got back, the money on my wallet? P6.25
Yes people. I'm coming out of my cave. lolz.
Weirdness
I've arranged my clothes. I've arranged according to color. In accordance to the color chart.
My desk looks immaculately clean. And my bulletin board is empty.
My room smells like floorwax.
I have begun reading the Illustrated Encyclopedia of Science and Nature that has been collecting dust on my brother's desk. Now we can talk about the phyllotaxy of plants, cells, a force called torque, angular momentum, seismic waves, mohorovicic discontinuity, plate tectonics, and flowers.

My mom has a new cellphone.
Actually, my father has a new cellphone. But he found the N70 too complicated for his communication needs.
So there. My mom got it instead. :D
The phone was lovely!
A 2-megapixel camera.
And it can store up to 700 songs!
And it's black.
So it's HAWWT.
Yay for her.
And I shall borrow it! LOL.

My parents were just supposed to drop me off at the grocery to buy some stuff my mother asked me to buy while she go drop off my father to The Heritage Hotel where he'll be staying for the night because he's going to China tomorrow.
Actually, that was the original plan.
Drop me off. Drop him off. Drive back and prepare the shizz for tomorrow's catering.
FORTUNATELY for me, my father forgot to turn right to Congressional Ave. in Cherry,where they were supposed to drop me off, was located. So, on impulse, he decided that I should just tag along with them since there will be food there and they could actually use a pig like me. lolz.
My mother's original plan was to just drop my father off then go back ASAP right? But since I was already there, she had no choice but to partake and enjoy in the sumptuous buffet prepared by the hotel and at least stop worrying about her catering for 2 hours.
I had no qualms with that really.
It's just about my clothes. I was supposed to just go grocery-ing diba? And being the crappyshabbyshitty dresser that I am, I have trouble differentiating my sleepwear from my going out clothes.
Hence, my cute pambahay t-shirt and my dog-bite infested slippers that won't be mistaken as Haviaianas gracing the hotel restaurant. (It's a good thing I decided to wear pants rather than my ukay-ukay shorts which would have been a fitting piece to my already-horrible ensemble.)
Who cares.
I still am your best bet for a buffet companion.
Just remind me next time to wear my semi-formals if ever my mother decided to send me again to the grocery. :D

I just gave my brother another wonderful reason to skin me alive. I bought a totally useless DVD with his money. Fushigi Yuugi. Yes. The anime. But not just any anime. This anime literally set me off in a frenzy. In fact, our printer experienced a drought with my senseless printing of what I considered as cute Fushigi Yuugi graphics; even begging my mom to buy me the playing cards from Comic alley etc. etc., the whole shebang really.
But that was eons ago. I’m way past my snot-filled fourth grader-slash-pseudo anime freak stage.
And yet I still bought the DVD on impulse. My loser instincts told me to rekindle my love for this friggin anime plus Ate, the stallkeeper whom I asked about it was very enthusiastic I just had to cave in.
So what’s the story all about?
Well, it’s about a very promiscuous and not to mention, very stupid 15 year-old Japanese schoolgirl named Miaka who just can’t seem to stop unintentionally parading her underwear in front of two of her “7 star warriors” named Tamahome and Hotohori thanks to her ultra-revealing microminiskirt excuse for a uniform.
Ok, so maybe what I said is a slightly bastardized version of the main character. But trust me, my description is not far-off the mark. Anyway, I’d still continue to watch this crap. After all, it’s not everyday 2 bishounens fall for the same idiot.
Now will you excuse me while I get some popcorn?

After more than a month of no-show on my parish org, I finally attended it again yesterday with Kristine, who just came back from Cagayan De Oro. After the meeting, we went to Circle C to find and buy some DVDs. I wasn't able to buy anything because all of them do not sell the season 1 (only) dvd of Lost. Rawr. Oh well. Kristine was able to buy a DVD though. (Season 4 of OC. :] ) I just asked her if she wants to come to our house and have a DVD marathon with me. She said yes so I blew my money on junk food in the grocery for our spur-of-the-moment bonding session. Haha! 88 pesos pera ko. Bill sa grocery: P88.60! Lol.
So there. We spent the whole afternoon laughing our heads off to Friends while munching endlessly with all the junk I bought. My father arrived and since, we both don't know how to cook, nagpa-deliver nalang siya sa Jollibee.
By 5:30, Kristine went home and my father said we're going to Marikina to fetch my sister because we're going to watch Shrek 3! YAYAYAYAY! :D
Went to Starbucks first since late na kami sa movie. Doon nalang sa last full show. Hahahaha. My sister was right, "Starbucks is the cheapest form of luxury." Wala lang.
About the movie, sasakit po ang panga mo katatawa.
